I studied Fine Art at Bristol and decided to try and continue working after further seterioration in my sight, because it seemed less demanding to carry on in some way than to stop. I organised my own solo drawing tour around Britian, and a touring exhibition. More recently, I have become involved with the Access Workshops at the Whitechapel Art Gallery. I have recently completed a Mastes of Arts degree in Fine Art at Wimbledon School f Art and continue to exhibit. Mu community education work is mostly based around enabling visually impaired people and people with mobility needs to access mainstream exhibitions.

My advice to young people interested in the arts is not to give up. Don't take on board able-bodied attitudes and assumptions that the arts is a no-go area for disabled people. Trust your own judgement , but be realistic and professional.
